I really enjoyed this Hawaiian shaved ice. I went with Pink Lemonade, Blue Berry, and Coconut flavors in a nice pretty rainbow! Loved Blue Berry, so nomnom. Gypsy Pig Cone @ Gypsy Queen Food Truck
Get ready to blow your foodie mind with one of the unique dishes, the Gypsy Pig Cone from Gypsy Queen Food Truck in Baltimore. What in the world of food is this? A cone of pork? This is one of the most unique and fun dishes we’ve ever tried. A giant waffle cone filled with french fries topped with BBQ Pork and drenched with a bunch of Sauce. An amazing dish that hits the spot! The fries and the pork tasted perfect. Be careful, and it’s hot to hold on to. Luckily you don’t have to bite into that food monstrosity, and it comes with a fork. Talk about a super portion that has to be shared with a friend. We were able to finish only half. This must be the best food truck in Baltimore.

Did we go to Baltimore vs. DC Food Trucks event? Which city has the best trucks? Ohh, this was a great Puerto Rican chopped pork sandwich. You can really taste very nomnom spicy guava sauce. This is pretty big for a half-taster size option. I love that I can order half a sandwich and get two different ones for the price of one—great 1st nom representing DC during the Baltimore vs. Washington DC Food Trucks @ The Gathering.

Not my favorite sandwich from this place. I didn’t think grilled tofu had a lot of flavors. This is pretty big for a half-taster size option. Maple Glazed Bacon Donut @ Gypsy Queen Cafe Truck
You read right, and it’s a maple glazed bacon donut—crazy bacon excitement at Gathering 2012 DC vs. Baltimore Food Trucks Competition. Our bacon radar picked it up right away. If you get a chance, you should really try this. One of the best donuts I’ve ever tasted! It helps that there is bacon on top—great nom representing Baltimore food trucks.

Say hello to a brand new popcorn food truck in DC! I love the mix of two different flavors K St Kettle Korn and Capital Caramel. I really like the caramel flavor, still one of my favorites. Great to see a brand new popcorn food truck in DC. They did a great job representing DC in Baltimore vs. Washington DC @ The Gathering Food Truck Event.
