This is not your grandma’s casserole, but a a whole new level of nomnom experience in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. It just might blow your taste buds. Its a sweet plantains stuffed with crabmeat and topped with tone of cheese. When they made this, they went all in. Crazy amounts of everything. Whole thing is layered with giant pieces of crab meat. Perfect seafood and sweet flavor combination. You can really taste each distinct ingredient. Served with side of mashed potatoes and rice. If you here, there is no excuse not to try this amazing dish. That is one very expensive dish, but so worth it.The actual dish name is Cazuela de Salmorejo y Maduros. Make sure to sit outside and enjoy a nice breeth on your old town San Juan adventures.
