It took several tries, but I finally got a burger I like at Ray’s. I went the simple route of making my own Original Au Poivre Burger medium cooked. It tasted as beautiful as it looks to build your own burger kind of experience, so I added tomatoes, bacon, runny butter-fried egg, mushrooms, smoked mozzarella, grilled onions, and special Ray’s Sauce. Been to this place many times and always thought it’s overrated, but now everything has changed. Glad to finally have a burger build that I can enjoy at this place.
Sometimes frying is too much. Too much oil, and I felt like I was drinking oil. It almost dominated the taste. It might be just that day before they were better.
