We are getting some local breakfast strata from Starbucks in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Starbucks in different countries have unique drinks and dishes that are not available here in the USA, so we always make sure to try them. Even though Puerto Rico is still part of the USA, it has a unique breakfast layered casserole dish. Strata is an American dish, so we are amazed we can’t order it on the mainland. That is so crazy that we can order a layered casserole dish for breakfast. Very light and soft, this cheesy egg dish makes for a great way to start your day. I can’t tell that this is not fresh and was just reheated for us per order. You can taste the broccoli in there. I kind of wish it had some meat like ham or maybe bacon. Yet another dish Starbucks should bring to all their locations!
