Breakfast Roll from Polo Club Oberoi Hotel, Bangalore India

Eating in Paradise, Breakfast and Desserts in Oberoi Hotel India

Nothing beats an amazing Breakfast Roll as the first meal in India from Polo Club Bar in Oberoi Hotel. After traveling for two days, you need a nice big meal. Ah, this delivers above and beyond to satisfy this very hungry nomster after eating nothing but plane food. It’s all about the chicken sausages here; they taste so good that almost nothing can compare. Goes great with sautéed mushrooms, onions, and a fried egg. A great mix of flavor and different textures. It’s the kind of dish you enjoy slowly to savor every bite. It also comes with bacon, but sausages kind of overpowered it. Make sure to pair this with a glass of fresh watermelon juice. It’s very refreshing and sweet.

Cheesecake

The Ras Malai was also known as Indian Cheesecake, was by far one of our most favorite dishes from the trip to Bangalore, India. Oberoi Hotel, with its amazing restaurants, introduced us to some of the best food. Le Jardin introduced us to some great new dishes, and this dessert was one of our favorites. Let’s say not everyone might be into Indian food, but everyone should be into their desserts. It’s all about the spices, ingredients working together to wow your taste buds and not sugar. Don’t let the simple look fool you, and this is a complex dish that requires a lot. Online the recipe calls for sugary white cream and soaked in milk cream and then cooked in sugar syrup and milk with saffron, pistachios, and so much more. It had this great milk, cream, and pistachio flavors with a firm texture that tasted so soft. The dessert had a great light flavor of milk. It looks so delicate that this is one of those desserts you have to enjoy very slowly to savor every single bite. Plus don’t forget to enjoy it with some fruits, we are huge fans of combination with watermelon. We need to find a restaurant back home that serves this Indian Cheesecake because we MUST HAVE IT AGAIN!!!!

Brownie Cake

I forgot those boring desserts you are used to going for Brownie Cake from Le Jardin, Oberoi Hotel in Bangalore, India. Usually, we would leave best for last, but it was so good that it must be shared early on. This is by far the best brownie we have ever tasted, and we are big brownie loves. It’s so moist and gooey with few huge nuts to add that extra crunch. It’s like they added very addicting drugs into it. It’s a pretty large brownie that you could easily share with a friend, but you better not try and share ours. It’s ALL MINE! When the waiter overheard my reaction, she brought out another serving for us. I guess when you enjoy something so much, you have to have more of it. Defiantly no complaints here hence the high 6 NOMs rating. In the end, I had about three or four of them. I couldn’t stop! This is also served in a few other restaurants in this Hotel.
