We are so stuffed but can’t pass up some Asian style cakes at this fantastic new family-style Asian tapas restaurant on U St, DC. This place has a very fluid identity with a mix of tapas and family-style dishes, enough to satisfy every craving you might have. You can’t go without dessert when trying out a brand new place. So far, everything was so good that our expectation is quite high. Plus it came highly recommended by our awesome waiter. Also, we were very curies about the strange mixture of taro and butternut squash. The light flavor and texture were our favorite parts of this unique dessert. Love the pumpkin sauce, makes for a beautiful fall dish after all its all about the pumpkin season. After so much food you can’t eat a lot, and so this made for a perfect tapas dessert. Such a strange combination and yet it was one of the tastiest desserts on U st.
