Dive into the fantastic new world of Vegetarian lasagna Lasagnetta di Zucchini al Forno by Chef Michael Chiarello at Bottega, an unbelievable Italian restaurant in Napa Valley. We are continuing our food adventure in one of the most fabulous restaurants in the country with a dish that brings a whole new level to Italian food by going all vegetarian. It’s so beautiful and mouthwatering that as soon as we saw it on another table, we just had to have it. It’s so beautiful, and you might want to hit on it rather than eat it. I love that mix of soft and crispy texture with crisp potato, zucchini, and tomato tart. Layer upon layer of nomnom goodness. So much flavor in every single bite. As you eat, you will forget that there is no meat because it’s perfect in every bite. I really liked that it was all about the ingredients and not drenched with too much red sauce. This is truly a masterpiece of culinary creation here at Bottega and one of the best dishes we’ve ever tasted. Perfect dish for those who want to try something new and unique.
Trenne Alla Bolognese Pasta (5/5 NOMs)
Dive fork first into the amazing food world of Trenne Alla Bolognese Pasta created by Chef Michael Chiarello at Bottega in the heart of the wine country of Napa Valley with homemade pasta. This is one of those restaurants you must try at least once in a lifetime. One beautiful plate that with every single piece seem to be specifically arranged and placed. You can actually see the kitchen from one of the interior windows and witness the pasta creation from scratch. With so little sauce, it was still one of the most flavorful pasta we’ve ever tasted. So light and soft in every bite was pure joy to eat this dish. You can really taste the freshly made pasta that melts in your mouth with a seasoned to perfection veal and pork combination. Topped lightly with some delicacies Parmigiano Reggiano cheese for that extra cheesiness without over cheese it. You can taste the perfect balance of all ingredients with just the right amount of flavor in every bite. This is one of those dishes you want to enjoy slowly to savor every single bite.
Tiramisu (5/5 NOMs)
A cup of heaven in every bite of amazing Tiramisu dessert from Zagat Top Rated and Michelin Star Napa Valley restaurant Bottega by Chef Michael Chiarello. So light and creamy, this is a perfect dish to end the foodie experience in one of the top-rated restaurants in the bay area. After all those courses of amazing Italian food, you really want some light that won’t make you feel overstuffed with a food baby—swirling layers of tasty chocolate, soft biscuits, and topped with sugary treats. First taste and your taste buds will jump with pure excitement. Even those two chocolate squares had amazing flavor. This is a dessert you have to enjoy slowly and savor every single bite of it. Plus, for extra nomnom, they added the superb sugary meringue. They were so good that the waiter brought us a few more. I love this different take on these popular Italian desserts. Sadly even with all the effort to eat it slowly, this Tiramisu has an end. Now can we have another order or maybe five more? Make sure to try it on your next visit.
