Hungry for some brunch then go no further and try Uova in Camicia Eggs Benedict at Lupo Verde a modern take on Italian food on U Street DC. One dish that includes everything we love about brunch and eggs Benedict. Two large eggs poached and seasoned to perfection. Just loved cutting into them and having yolk flow all over and add a great flavor to the two thick grilled pieces of bread. Ah, the crunchy bread was a great addition that so much better than old English muffin you usually find in eggs benedict. After all, this is an Italian inspired dish, so everything must be more. The grilled bread was so thick that poor weak us had a bit of trouble slicing through. Maybe we need a sharper knife? Different flavor and texture combination made this one excellent order. It’s a bit small and left us wanting more food especially since this is brunch and we are super hungry nomsters. Small size only makes you enjoy every single bite so much more. So make sure to enjoy it slowly and with small bites. I guess we have tried out some of their Italian desserts, oh the horror!
